The Providence Saint John Medical Library offers access to health and medical information -- 24 hours a day, seven days a week -- for medical, dental and nursing staff, residents, healthcare students and all other allied healthcare professionals.
Health Databases Available
OVID: Online database contains 360 full-text journals and 14 searchable medical and nursing textbooks. OVID also searches Medline, Evidence-Based Medicine and CINAHL.
MDCONSULT: Online full-text database contains 32 medical journals, 50 reference medical textbooks, 28 Clinics of North America, 33 Medical Year Books, Medline, AIDSLINE, HealthSTAR, and CANCERLIT journal database. It also gives full-text access to 600 Practice Guidelines, Drug information, Clinical Updates, and 10,000 patient handouts.

EOS Web OPAC: Online catalog searches the entire print journal and holdings of both Providence and Saint John libraries.
Database CME Credit
