Ambulatory Surgery Center
Leading-edge facility offers wide array of medical services
The Ambulatory Care Center at the Saint John Medical Plaza offers a variety of healthcare services. The center features two surgical suites with operating rooms, two minor procedure rooms, recovery areas for same-day surgeries, a centralized nurses' station and a spacious reception/waiting area.
Same-Day Surgeries Performed at the Ambulatory Care Center:
- Ear, nose and throat procedures, such as tonsillectomies and adenoidectomies using the new coblation therapy
- General surgery, such as excising skin cancers and hernia repairs
- Gynecological procedures, such as dilation and curetage (D&C)
- Eye surgery, such as removing cataracts with intraocular lens implants
- Orthopedic surgery, such as carpal tunnel relief and knee surgery
- Urological procedures, such as bladder examinations and biopsies
