A Great Greeter

"Saint John is my second home," said Pat Zink, who has been a volunteer at Saint John Hospital for 11 years.

Zink volunteers in the Gift Shop, Information Desk and Surgery Waiting Area.

"I let staff know when we receive new merchandise, and they usually leave with a purchase and a smile!"

Zink also sorts and delivers the hospital mail every day.

"It may seem like a small, tedious task, but when someone isn't there to do it, the staff may not get the information they need to do their jobs," she explained.
