Our orthopaedic patients benefit from an outstanding continuum of care.
First, we offer pre-surgery education, testing in physical and occupational therapy. Next, our patients receive exceptional care from our experienced surgeons and medical team.
Then our highly effective rehabilitation program gives patients the help they need to resume their daily activities once again.

Back in Action Again
Amy Hoag is excited to go boating, water skiing and camping once again. Last season, she missed out on her favorite summer sports because an injury left her with so much knee pain, she had trouble even standing.
Hoag came to the Joint Center to have a total knee replacement in August 2004. A resident of Belton, Mo., she was unfamiliar with Providence, but left the Joint Center excited to recommend it to friends and clients she meets through her job as a nurse case manager for Stubbe & Associates.
"The Joint Center is a very professional unit," she said. "The atmosphere is very caring, it's quiet and clean, and the nurses go beyond the call of duty."
Hoag has a long list of the things she can't wait to do, now that her knee is better: "I want to work in the yard and walk long distances. I'm excited to just be able to get around and do the activity of daily living." (Click here to read other patient success stories.)
